What services do you offer?

I specialize in business-to-business and business-to-customer copywriting including ads, sales letters, direct-mail packages, brochures, data sheets, feature articles, press releases, newsletters, postcards, checklists, resumes and more.


What do your fees include?
My fees include a 1st and 2nd draft and the final project.

 

You are located in the NC area, I am in California, how do we work together?
Thanks to the World Wide Web, we can communicate using e-mail, telephone and fax.  Most of my clients prefer to communicate via e-mail because it is quick and convenient.  Face-to-face meetings are not essential.
 
Do you require a signed contract before you can begin my project?
Yes.  A signed contract protects everyone, you, me and anyone else involved with the project.  Once you have agreed to hire me and we have agreed to terms, I can send you a contract for signature.  This can be done through regular mail, or email.  Once you sign the contract and return it to me, I can begin work on your project.

Do you require a deposit before you can begin my project?
A 50% deposit for the total cost of the project is required prior to beginning work on your project.  The balance is due upon completion of the project with a 10 day grace period.

 

How can you write for me if you do not have experience in my industry?

Research is a vital part of the process for any copywriter, and my fees include research. Prior to writing copy, I spend an abundant amount of time getting up to speed on your business, audience, and products.

 

When can you start?
I can generally start your copywriting project as soon as the contract is signed and deposit received.

 

How long will it take to complete my project?

This will depend on the size of the project.  During our first conversation/meeting, I will be able to answer this question.  For example, resumes take about 3 days.
